This Valentine’s Weekend, bring that special someone and enjoy a romantic evening with Al Jarreau as he plays his favorite romantic tunes from his 2008 release . Al Jarreau’s unique vocal style is one of the world’s most precious treasures. His innovative musical expressions have made him one of the most exciting and critically acclaimed performers of our time with seven Grammy Awards, scores of international music awards and popular accolades worldwide.
In March 2001 Al Jarreau received his own Star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame”, commemorating his status as one of the best singers of his generation. More recently, Jarreau received two Grammy® wins in 2007: Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, for "God Bless The Child” feat. Jill Scott, and Best Pop Instrumental for "Mornin’”. He is the only vocalist in history to receive Grammy Awards in three different categories (jazz, pop, and R&B).
During the summer of 2008, Jarreau helped the Playboy Jazz Festival celebrate its 30-year anniversary, headlining the festival’s opening night on June 14 in Los Angeles. His next big performance is just for you, right here in New York City at the NOKIA Theatre Time Square. Let Al help you to show the one you love a Valentine’s night he/she will never forget.

Their own recording career reached highs in the 1980s with the #1 hit smash “Solid”. Today they continue to record and tour the world performing to SOLD OUT audiences and spreading musical joy to many, many loyal fans. These are two performers you won’t want to miss!
