August 17th’s Smooth Cruise Dazzles with Smokin’ Guitar and Sax
It was quite a Wednesday night out on New York Harbor as the Smooth Cruise rocked with two sold out shows featuring Norman Brown and Richard Elliot. After a beautiful summer evening on the water with a memorable show from these two top artists, fans disembarked describing the performances as “amazing,” “fantastic,” and “out of this world.” Today on Facebook, the raves and “likes” continued to come in…"It was an awesome show last night," said one fan, who also thanked us for the show. (Our pleasure!) Another proclaimed, “Awesome show last night!!!!!!! These two rocked the ship. The ship docked and they are still playing…”
Brown, Elliot and their killer band worked their way into the crowd at numerous points of the evening (to the delight of many of the ladies in the house) and everybody was up on their feet having a good time, grooving to hot, masterful guitar and sax playing.
“Everyone left the boat smiling and feeling so great as both Norman and Richard stayed until midnight signing autographs and CD’s and taking pictures with everyone,” reported our photographer Jerry “JB” Brooks – whose terrific photos capturing the evening can be found on our Facebook page.
