Patti Austin helps create “We Are The World – 25 for Haiti”

Legendary vocalist Patti Austin has recently been instrumental in assisting Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie to make “We Are the World – 25 for Haiti.” It is the 25th Anniversary re-recording of the American benefit single for African famine relief. This 21st century recording will have restructured backgrounds, updated choruses, and new phrasing. Stars who participated (of the more than 80) included Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus, P!nk, Jennifer Hudson, The Jonas Brothers, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Tony Bennett, Jamie Foxx, Nicole Richie, Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn.
